Rivers State Citizens Urged to Support Gov Fubara in Task of Governance Ahead

Rivers State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry Warisenibo Joe Johnson, has solicited for the support and cooperation of people of the state, to enable the Governor succeed in the task of governance ahead.

Speaking with newsmen in Port-Harcourt on the way forward of the administration of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, joe-Johnson stressed that the administration required the support, prayers, and encouragements from Rivers people to enable the dispensation achieve the desired objectives of taking the state to enviable height.

The Commissioner who expressed the confidence that the Governor has the wherewithal and enough experiences to consolidate on the great achievements recorded before and now by the governor hence the need for collective efforts to ensure that his leadership is successful.

He further explained that given the pedigree of the governor as a seasoned administrator and Accountant, manager of human and material resources, the people of the state should begin to count themselves lucky, and prepare their minds to work with his development blueprints, christened: ‘ Rivers First Agenda’ , to enable them reap the dividends of democracy under this dispensation .

Warisenibo Joe Johnson said that given the preview of his performance after the return of democratic rule, the Governor has succeeded in taking the state out of stagnation and under-development, to the path of stability, peaceful co-existence, progress and development.

According to him, the administration has succeeded in almost all aspects of human endeavour and development in the areas of education, health-care services, roads infrastructure and rural development.

Others include, environmental development, water supply, housing, urban- rural development, maintenance of peace and security.

He, therefore, stressed the need for the people of the state, to continue to remain peaceful and obedient to constitutional authorities following the return of the present administration, championed by Governor Siminalaye Fubara.
