Mayor of Port Harcourt Appoints Officials to City Council

In a bid to improve administration, The Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Sir Allwell Ihunda has approved nomination supervisors for the council.

In a statement from the Mayor’s office on Monday 3 November, 2025 the list of nominees has been transmitted to the 10th Port Harcourt City Legislative Council for screening and confirmation.

  2. Godswill Fiagema
  3. Chidiebere Ibechenjo
  4. Frank Amadi
  5. Beauty Amadichukwu

The Mayor of Port Harcourt City also approved the appointment of Engr. Dennis Ejekwu as Secretary of Council, Mr. Glory Oparaodu as Chief of Staff, Mr. Cicil Ichichi Wordu as Legal Adviser.

According to the statement the Mayor also made the following appointments
