LPV Technologies, a prominent indigenous solar manufacturing company in Nigeria, has achieved a major milestone with the unveiling of its TÜV SÜD certification for premium-grade solar panels.
The certification confirms that the firm’s solar modules meet the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards, positioning them alongside globally recognized solar technologies and advancing Nigeria’s position in the renewable energy industry.
Speaking during the announcement, the company’s General Manager, Engr. Omobola Omofaiye described the certification as a landmark achievement for both LPV Technologies and the nation’s clean-energy ecosystem.
According to her, the accreditation reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering world-class renewable-energy products that are designed to address Nigeria’s unique power challenges.
She noted that the certified panels were engineered with advanced monocrystalline cells and built for superior energy generation, reduced degradation, and consistent performance, even in low-light conditions common across parts of the country.
Industry analysts view the certification as a significant boost to the credibility of Nigeria’s local solar manufacturing sector.
