Nigerian Fanbase Fix Date For Protest

‎In an effort to address the issues of mismanagement and corruption within Nigerian football, passionate soccer fans have organized a rally against the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to protest the poor management practices exhibited by the football governing body.

‎The convener of the protest, the Save Nigeria Football Movement (SNFM), has urged football stakeholders and enthusiasts to participate in the demonstration aimed at eradicating the corrupt practices perpetuated by the NFF, which have led to a decline in the development of the sport in the West African nation.

‎In a statement issued by the SNFM Coordinator, Ladi Waidi, the organization revealed that the protest is directed at the leadership within the football Glass House, specifically targeting its General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, who has occupied the role for over 11 years despite his incompetence and poor leadership, which have resulted in a continuous downturn in the country’s football performance.

‎The group states that the protest, scheduled for November 17 at the NFF headquarters in Abuja, aims to demand administrative transparency, accountability, and the removal of Sanusi along with other corrupt officials from their positions.

‎”We assert that we will no longer accept the mismanagement and corruption that have afflicted Nigerian football for years,” the statement emphasizes.

‎”It is time for change, and we are urging Nigerians to join us on November 17 to advocate for a brighter future for our football.
