CDCFIB Releases 2025 Recruitment Shortlist

The Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the release of the shortlist of candidates who participated in its recent recruitment exercise for the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCOS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC).

In a statement issued on Wednesday evening, the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd.) disclosed that applicants can begin checking their application status on the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — from Thursday, October 30, 2025. He added that the portal would provide comprehensive details regarding the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for each shortlisted candidate, including the date, time, and examination center.

Maj. Gen. Jibril advised all applicants to follow only the official instructions published on the portal and to disregard any messages or claims from unauthorized sources.

He cautioned against patronizing fraudsters or intermediaries who promise undue advantages in the recruitment process, stressing that the exercise remains transparent, merit-based, and devoid of external influence.

He reaffirmed that the ongoing recruitment across the four paramilitary agencies under the supervision of the CDCFIB forms part of the Federal Government’s broader efforts to strengthen internal security architecture, improve service delivery, and create employment opportunities for qualified Nigerians.

The Board reiterated its commitment to ensuring a credible and accountable recruitment process that upholds the principles of fairness, discipline, and professionalism within the nation’s paramilitary services.
