NFFA President Pledges to Make Nollywood a Global Movie Hub

The newly elected Nigeria Film Festivals Association, NFFA Ambassador Kate Ezigbo has vowed to make Nollywood the hub of film production in the world.

Ambassador Ezigbo who spoke to our correspondent explained that Nigeria Film Festivals Association is the body that oversees all film festivals in the nation.

She stated that ignorance and paucity of fund are the factors plaguing the association and enumerated the benefits of NFFA to include creation employment, poverty alleviation, and youth engagement.

“The film festival promotes cultural activities. The film festival still remains the biggest platform for content promotion, discovery of emerging talents and exposure of local talents to international communities.


It also offers training, seminars, and mentorship services to stakeholders in the industry”, she noted.

The President of Nigeria Film Festivals Association, stressed that she is poised to contribute her quota in enhancing the nation’s film industry by focusing on welfare of the personnel, talent exportation, and luring investors.
