Professor Zeb-Obipi Visits RSU Emohua Campus, Engages Staff on Student Result Submission

The Vice-Chancellor of Rivers State University, Professor Isaac Zeb-Obipi, on Friday 17 October 2025 paid a working visit to the Emohua Campus of the institution as part of ongoing engagements with staff and students across the University’s satellite campuses.

Address staff during the visit, Professor Zeb-Obipi emphasized the importance of timely submission of results.

He explained that timely submission of final year students results will enable the graduating students to participate in the forthcoming Convocation Ceremony scheduled for December 2025.

The Vice Chancellor encouraged all academic staff to redouble efforts to meet this crucial academic milestone.

Welcoming the University Vice Chancellor and his team, the Head of Campus, Professor Donald Hamilton, expressed appreciation for the visit and assured them of their commitment to maintain the University’s Standard of Excellence.

Professor Hamilton stated that staff and students at the Emohua Campus are committed to contributing their best towards the growth of the Rivers State University.

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by Principal Officers and members of Management, including: Professor. Valentine Omubo Pepple, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic); Mrs. I. B. S. Harry, Registrar; Dr. Juliet C. Alex-Nmecha, University Librarian; Dr. Gift O. Eke, Bursar.

Other senior officers in attendance were: Prof. Bright Opara, Dean of Student Affairs; Prof. G. B. Okon, Director of Research and Development; Architects Henry Onu, Acting Director of Works and Dr. John Akah, Director of Administration / SAVC.
