AY Set to Shut Down Port Harcourt With Comedy Show

AY

AY Live, a brand synonymous with elevating Nigerian comedy to a premium experience, is set to write its next chapter in Port Harcourt.

Following a series of sold-out, legendary performances in Lagos and Abuja, the nation’s premier comedy showcase is bringing its unique magic to the Aztech Arcum on October 5, 2025.

For years, AY Live has built an unparalleled reputation for not just featuring stars, but for creating landmark moments in entertainment. Past events have become the stuff of industry legend—nights where surprise celebrity appearances, unforgettable skits, and the debut of now-classic routines have set a high bar for live comedy in Africa.

The decision to bring the show to Port Harcourt is an evidence of the city’s vibrant cultural scene and signals a strategic expansion of an entertainment empire.

The lineup for the Port Harcourt edition features a powerful roster of AY Live alumni and headliners, including the intellectual wit of I Go Dye, the versatile storytelling of Seyi Law, the dynamic energy of Gordons, and the infectious humor of Akpororo. These artists have been integral to the show’s past successes and understand the unique, high-energy atmosphere an AY Live event commands.

Building on the communal spirit of past events, which have drawn audiences from across the continent, this edition is poised to be a major social gathering.

For residents of Port Harcourt and the wider Niger Delta, this is a rare chance to witness a piece of contemporary Nigerian comedy history live and in person.
