Holley Reopens Meter Market to Tackle Estimated Billing

Holley Metering Nigeria Limited has announced the resumption of prepaid meter sales for electricity consumers in Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River States.

The company, a licensed Meter Asset Provider (MAP) under the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), said the move is part of its mandate to close Nigeria’s wide metering gap.

Holley Metering, a global leader in metering technology, has a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Plc (PHED) to supply and install smart prepaid meters across PHED’s franchise areas.

According to the management, the initiative will empower customers to monitor and control their electricity consumption, eliminate estimated billing, and reduce the risk of unwarranted disconnections.

The company pegged the cost of a single-phase meter at ₦129,454.30 and a three-phase meter at ₦216,206.47, both inclusive of VAT. It assured that installation will be completed within ten working days after payment is made into its dedicated account.

Holley Metering further advised customers to ensure that all payments are made directly into its official account to avoid falling victim to fraud.

The company urged interested customers to visit its office at No. 8 Liberty Drive, off Alcon Road, Woji, Port Harcourt, or any PHED office for inquiries and purchases.

The management reiterated its commitment to providing reliable and efficient metering solutions to support Nigeria’s electricity reforms, stressing that access to prepaid meters remains one of the most effective ways of ensuring transparency in the power sector.
