KidsFM Port Harcourt has announced it will host a significant family-oriented event, “The Family Fun Day Out,” on October 1st, 2025, coinciding with Nigeria’s Independence Day celebrations. The event is scheduled to take place at Oak Park and Gardens, commencing at 12:00 PM.
The station has outlined a program featuring a variety of live performances, including music and dance.
Headlining the event’s special guests is Ayodele, a celebrated kid poet and published writer in Port Harcourt. In a separate announcement, the popular Port Harcourt influencer, Veronica’s Daughter (@veronicasdaughter) was also confirmed to be in attendance, stating, “I will be at the KIDS FM PORT HARCOURT FAMILY FUN DAY OUT!”
The event will also serve as a platform for local youth talent, with scheduled appearances by published child poet Ayodele and a live acro-ballet performance by Daniella Owan, an eight-year-old performer.

Further elevating the event’s profile is the confirmed attendance of the prominent local influencers and talents.
In a statement, a representative for KidsFM Port Harcourt emphasized the event’s community focus, noting it is designed to provide a comprehensive entertainment experience for families. The event will include organized games, food, and musical entertainment.
They wrote:
