Amarachukwu Eze Encourages Women’s Involvement in AI

Nigerian data specialist Amarachukwu Eze is spearheading initiatives to enhance women’s involvement in artificial intelligence and data science through her project, DataHER Africa, as she mentioned in a statement on Sunday.

‎The program offers mentorship, project-based learning, and career advice for young women, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds.

‎Since its inception, DataHER Africa has assisted over 50 participants, who have completed five practical projects, including analytics dashboards and small-scale AI prototypes.

‎”DataHER Africa emerged from my personal journey. I want young women to recognize that their aspirations in technology are both valid and attainable,” Eze stated.

‎Eze is also the author of A Journey to Tech, a fictionalized narrative inspired by her experiences in a male-dominated sector. The book, which can be found on Amazon, provides practical advice and motivation for aspiring data professionals.

‎Her previous work, The Teacher Called Experience, co-authored and distributed at no cost to high school students, highlighted her dedication to empowering youth through the sharing of knowledge.

‎Although not centered on technology, it showcased the perspective-shaping methodology she has since utilized to promote women’s inclusion in digital sectors.
