WHO, UNICEF Partner With Rivers State on Healthcare

Dr. Chituru Adele, Executive Secretary of Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board, led a delegation of directors and international partners from WHO, UNICEF, and NPHCDA on a September 26, advocacy visit to His Royal Majesty, Eze Chike Worlu-Wodu JP, DSSRS, Chairman of Rivers State Council of Chiefs and Traditional Rulers.

The meeting between Dr. Adele and His Royal Majesty underscored the significance of traditional leaders in healthcare delivery. Dr. Adele highlighted the Board’s ongoing efforts to strengthen primary healthcare, including planning, service delivery, and vaccine introduction.
