Rivers State Deputy Governor Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu has expressed the need for the three tiers of government and the private sector to synergise efforts to fast-track holistic development in our communities
Speaking during the commissioning of Ogbogu Secondary School in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, on Wednesday, September 24, Professor Odu said the volume of the project is unprecedented.
The Deputy Governor, who commissioned over ten projects and flagged off another ten projects within Egi, expressed hope that the Community would protect the projects jealously.

She expressed thanks to President Ahmed Tinubu for implementing the Petroleum Industry Act, and Obagi Host Community Development Trust is a flagbearer.

“I want to say it is a demonstration of synergy between the Federal, State, Community, Total and other Partners, it only tells us that when we work together, we achieve more and we remain focused. My prayer is that this synergy should increase and grow bigger and bigger.”
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Host Communities. Senator Benson Agadaga attributed the relative peace enjoyed by host communities to the achievement of the Petroleum Industry Act, while commending the Obagi Host Community Development Trust for its developmental strides urged host communities that have not set up their HDT to set up without further delay.
