‎Victor Osimhen Finally Returns to Galatasaray Training

‎Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has resumed training at Galatasaray, two weeks after an ankle injury. Osimhen sustained an injury to his ankle during Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Rwanda two weeks prior.

‎This injury forced him to leave the Super Eagles camp prematurely to return to Galatasaray for treatment. Since the conclusion of the international break, the 26-year-old striker has been absent from Galatasaray’s last two matches against Eyupspor and Eintracht Frankfurt.

‎Various sources have also reported that the Cimbom are managing Osimhen’s situation with great caution and may postpone his return until the end of September to ensure proper healing.

‎Currently, it seems that the Super Eagles star is nearing a return to competitive play for Galatasaray. The club has shared images of Osimhen training alongside his teammates on Sunday, in preparation for their Super Lig match against Konyaspor at Rams Park on Monday.

‎Ajansspor reported that Victor Osimhen engaged in several training drills with his teammates and also completed some individual exercises. However, he is not expected to participate in the match against Konyaspor.

‎Nonetheless, his return to training is certainly a positive development, indicating that he is very close to making his comeback for Galatasaray.

‎Osimhen’s return would undoubtedly provide a significant boost to the reigning champions of Turkey in both the Super Lig and the UEFA Champions League.
