Managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku has enjoined staff of the commission to promote transparency and integrity in the workplace.
Dr. Ogbuku who gave the advice during a Sensitization Programme for NDDC personnel on “Workplace Compliance with Transparency and Due Process” which held on 18-09-25 in Port Harcourt, told participants that following due process would reduce conflicts.
Represented by Chief of staff, Reverend Julius Oworibo, the MD noted that working in fairness and team work would enhance Peace and build trust.
Similarly, Acting Director, Dispute and Conflict Resolution DCR Directorate, Mr. Godwin Ogedegbe who emphasized transparency and accountability told staff to dialogue with stakeholders to make for an enabling environment for project delivery.

He emphasised that combining Alternative Dispute Resolution and transparency is important in maintaining work place harmony.
Speaking on promoting Standards and Institutional Integrity, a facilitator, Dr. Gbenga Gbarada maintained that leaders should use power to serve people and not themselves.

According to Dr. Gbarada, Alternative Dispute Resolution ADR, should be encouraged because it is efficient, faster and promotes justice.
Some of the participants of the event were thankful for the timing of the program which they noted would enhance their ability to deliver a given task effectively.

Recall the Niger Delta Development Commission had earlier organized an Alternative Dispute Resolution program for Stakeholders in the Niger Delta to ensure that there is an atmosphere for peace to accommodate development in the Region.
