Zoho, a worldwide technology company, has announced that the growing demand for Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions among local businesses, coupled with robust privacy protections, has led to a 75% increase in customers on its platform.
This growth reflects the expanding digital economy in Nigeria, where businesses across various sectors are incorporating AI to optimize operations, improve customer engagement, and enhance data protection.
In a recent study titled: ‘The AI Privacy Equation: The Nigerian Model of Responsible AI Adoption,’ conducted by Arion Research, Zoho emphasizes the country’s role in balancing AI innovation with privacy safeguards.

Significantly, 84 percent of participants reported that they have bolstered privacy measures since adopting AI, with 66 percent characterizing these enhancements as substantial.
Kehinde Ogundare, Country Head of Zoho Nigeria, stated: “We are committed to investing in Nigeria as businesses here rapidly embrace technology to grow and scale.
The latest study on AI and Privacy demonstrates that Nigerian companies are at the forefront of responsible AI adoption, striking a balance between new technology and privacy considerations.
“This aligns with Zoho’s philosophy of developing contextual and privacy-first AI models that enable businesses to achieve tangible benefits.
We integrate our AI solutions – from conversational and prescriptive to agentic and generative – with business context to provide organizations with decision intelligence.”
