‎”We Won’t Be Nice With Super Eagles” -Rwanda Warns

According to the recent report, it is claimed that Rwanda’s national team coach, Adel Amrouche, has given a strong message to Nigeria ahead of their World Cup qualifier game on Saturday night.

‎Right now, Rwanda is in third place in Group C, after Benin beat Zimbabwe on Friday. Nigeria is in fourth place.

‎The Super Eagles know that if they want to beat the team at the top of the group, South Africa, they need to win. They are set to play South Africa on Tuesday but the Rwandan team isn’t going to make it easy for Nigeria at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

‎Amrouche said, “When facing the Super Eagles, we must respect the opponent and ourselves. We have the mindset to move forward, to look ahead, and to aim for the top,” as reported by Pan Africa Football.

‎He added, “Our goal is to show that winning mindset; it’s our responsibility. We didn’t come here to be easy targets. We have a dream of being among the African teams in the World Cup.”

‎Rwanda’s captain, Djihad Bizimana, also shared the same message. He said they don’t mind being considered underdogs.

‎”I don’t accept the underdog label. We are a team that can compete. We showed that in our last match. We are here to play good football and try to win. If you look at the standings, we have a chance if we win. We have a real chance to qualify for the World Cup.”
