‎IFA 2025: Samsung Unveils “AI Home: Future Living, Now”

‎At Innovation For All (IFA) 2025, Samsung Electronics presented its vision for “AI Home: Future Living, Now”. The goal of Samsung’s AI Home is to create an experience that people can enjoy today — not merely in the future — and it is designed for everyone, not just a privileged few.

‎”At Samsung, we’re not merely envisioning the future of AI; we’re integrating it into daily life. Samsung’s AI Home transcends smart devices to create homes that genuinely understand you, adjust to your needs, and prioritize what is most important,” stated Cheolgi Kim (CK), Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Appliances (DA) Business. “This marks the dawn of a new era — where technology seamlessly supports your life in the background, allowing you to live it more completely.”

‎The AI Home experience from Samsung is crafted to enhance everyday living by making it more convenient, efficient, healthy, and secure.

‎Research from Samsung reveals that 66% of consumers find the concept of an AI-enabled home attractive, with many imagining streamlined daily tasks (44%) and increased control through phone or voice commands (45%). AI Home, featuring SmartThings automated routines, fulfills this vision — automating lighting, temperature, and even coordinating blinds with the weather for effortless living.

‎For 93% of individuals, the home serves as a sanctuary, while 80% view it as a social hub. As families spend more time together, AI Home enriches shared experiences with wellness checks, customized sleep settings, and nutrition planning.

‎Energy efficiency is a primary advantage that consumers seek from AI. 66% believe that an AI-enabled home can assist in tracking expenses and saving money. With SmartThings Energy, AI Home can decrease washing machine energy consumption by up to 70%.

‎Security is also a vital concern, with 40% anticipating that AI will enhance home protection through timely notifications. Samsung Knox Vault protects sensitive information at the hardware level, while Knox Matrix extends security across connected devices with comprehensive ecosystem protection.
