Research from Samsung reveals that 66% of consumers find the concept of an AI-enabled home attractive, with many imagining streamlined daily tasks (44%) and increased control through phone or voice commands (45%). AI Home, featuring SmartThings automated routines, fulfills this vision — automating lighting, temperature, and even coordinating blinds with the weather for effortless living.

For 93% of individuals, the home serves as a sanctuary, while 80% view it as a social hub. As families spend more time together, AI Home enriches shared experiences with wellness checks, customized sleep settings, and nutrition planning.
Energy efficiency is a primary advantage that consumers seek from AI. 66% believe that an AI-enabled home can assist in tracking expenses and saving money. With SmartThings Energy, AI Home can decrease washing machine energy consumption by up to 70%.
