According to a recent report, Samuel Chukwueze, on Tuesday, September 2, has emphasized the significance of the Super Eagles winning their forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
As indicated by the current standings in the qualifiers group, Eric Chelle’s team is positioned fourth in Group C, having accumulated seven points from six matches.
Bafana Bafana of South Africa leads the table with 13 points from the same number of games.
Chukwueze asserted that winning both matches would enhance the Super Eagles’ prospects of qualifying for the global soccer event.

“At this moment, my focus is solely on the game. We require victories in both matches against Rwanda and South Africa. Therefore, we must win both to secure our World Cup qualification,” the winger stated to Fulham TV following his loan transfer from AC Milan.
Chukwueze is anticipated to join the training camp on Tuesday (today) for the vital qualifiers. Nigeria is set to host Rwanda in a matchday seven encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday.
The West African team will face South Africa three days later in Bloemfontein.
