‎Atalanta Adds Lookman to UCL Squad Despite Transfer Saga

According to a recent report, on September 3, Atalanta added Super Eagles player Ademola Lookman to their Champions League squad, showing they want to bring him back after he tried to leave the club this summer without success.

Although Lookman is still training on his own and hasn’t played in any of Atalanta’s games this season, his name is on the club’s official Champions League squad list.

‎Forwards: Charles De Ketelaere, Nikola Krstović, Ademola Lookman, Daniel Maldini, Gianluca Scamacca, Kamaldeen Sulemana.

‎Lookman, who is 27, tried to move from Atalanta during the summer. His first choice was Inter, but the Italian team stopped their interest after Atalanta refused two bids of €40 million and €45 million.

‎Bayern Munich later tried to sign him with a loan offer that could turn into a permanent deal, but Atalanta said no, as they only wanted a permanent transfer.
