2Shotz Says Beverly Osu Allegation Ruined His Life

Veteran Nigerian rapper William Orioha, popularly known as 2Shotz, has broken his silence on the long-standing assault allegation made against him by actress Beverly Osu, describing it as a turning point that shattered his career, family, and mental health.

In a deeply emotional interview on the Teju Babyface Show, 2Shotz recounted how the accusation made years before his marriage, spiraled into a public scandal that left him isolated, broke, and suicidal.

According to the rapper, Beverly, who once featured in one of his music videos, had been a regular visitor to his home. Their relationship eventually soured, and during a heated argument, he claimed that his hand “accidentally brushed her face.” Beverly interpreted the incident as physical assault, and the story quickly spread across media platforms.

“I was accused of so many things that I’m not. Everybody tore me apart. I wasn’t getting shows. I wasn’t getting deals. I lost my house. I almost killed myself. I walked into water, and people had to pull me out,” he revealed.

2Shotz emphasized that the incident was misrepresented and insisted that he has never been a violent person. He described the aftermath as one of the darkest periods of his life, noting that the scandal not only damaged his public image but also led to the breakdown of his marriage and separation from his daughter.

He also shared that the allegation followed him into his personal life abroad, where his then-wife allegedly used the controversy against him during their separation.

“It had happened a long time before I got married. I didn’t even know that it was a thing in the first place,” he said. “She had always come to my house… You wanted to be my girlfriend. Anyway, long story short, we were scuffling, we were arguing, and I was like, ‘I don’t understand why your mum will be calling me. I haven’t even seen you in months. Where have you been?’”.

The rapper’s revelation has reignited conversations about the long-term impact of public allegations, especially in the entertainment industry, where reputation can make or break a career. While Beverly Osu has not responded publicly to the interview, the story continues to stir reactions online.
