Phyna Demands Sister’s Transfer To India For Treatment

Reality TV star and actress Phyna has sparked online debate after demanding that her sister, Ruth Otabor, be flown to India for urgent medical treatment, citing dissatisfaction with the care provided at a Nigerian hospital.

In a video circulating online, Phyna was seen at the hospital’s reception, visibly distressed, alongside individuals identified as members of the Dangote Group management. She criticized the facility’s standards and insisted her sister deserved better.

“I am putting my sister as Dangote’s child, because if not, Dangote will not bring his child here; they will fly them abroad,” Phyna declared.

When one of the men present objected to her comparison, she stood her ground, reiterating.

“Dangote will not bring his child here.”

Phyna confirmed her intention to take Ruth abroad, specifically to India, where she believes her sister will receive superior care. The video shows Ruth lying in a hospital bed with medical apparatus attached to her leg, underscoring the seriousness of her condition.

The emotional outburst has ignited conversations about the state of healthcare in Nigeria, with many supporting Phyna’s decision and others questioning the practicality of her demands.

Phyna’s bold stance reflects a growing frustration among Nigerians who feel forced to seek medical help abroad due to inadequate local facilities. Her advocacy for her sister has earned praise from fans, who commend her for using her platform to fight for better treatment.
