6 Division Garrison Wins Combat Proficiency Competition

6 division Garrison Nigerian Army has emerged winner of the combat proficiency competition 2025 held at the Port Harcourt barracks, Rivers State.

At the closing ceremony, the General Officer Commanding 6 Division Nigerian Army Port Harcourt, Major General Emmanuel Eric-Emekah charged the officers to bring the experience gathered during the Competition to bare in their various formations and units.

Major General Eric-Emekah who is the special guest of honor represented by the Chief of staff head quarters 6 division Nigeria Army , Bridgadier General Emmanuel Adamu commended the participants for the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited during the Competition.

On his path, The Chief host, Commander 6 Division Garrison/Commander Sector 3 Joint Task Force South-South operation, Delta Safe Brigadier General SANI AHMED said at the end of the yearly training cycle done by the Nigerian Army that they organized the competition to test all the formations and units to see who emerged the best.

Four formations took part in the combat proficiency competition comprised of the 6 Division Garrison, 63 Brigade, 2 Brigade and 16 Brigade.
