According to a recent report, the reigning Serie A champions, Napoli, are looking to bring in a new player, Tolu Arokodare, a striker from Super Eagles and Genk. This move is meant to replace Romelu Lukaku, who is injured and will miss a lot of games, as shared by PUNCH Sports Extra.
Napoli’s manager, Antonio Conte, is looking for a new star player after Romelu Lukaku’s injury. The club has named several players as possible options, including Tolu Arokodare and Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United.
Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano says that Napoli is still trying to find a new striker after Lukaku’s injury.
They have already contacted Arokodare’s representatives. Genk values him at around €20 to €25 million after he was the top scorer in the Belgian league last season. They are also looking at Højlund as they search for a new striker.

Arokodare, who is 24 years old, had a great season with Genk in the Jupiler League, scoring 23 goals and setting up seven more in 45 matches across all competitions.
That made him the top scorer of the league. His good form caught the attention of many European teams during the summer transfer window, but it seems a transfer isn’t likely right now.
Arokodare started the season with Genk’s 2-1 loss to Standard Liege. He has been playing as a substitute in every match this season. His club manager, Thorsten Fink, said, “It’s money time for Tolu. The club simply has to sell.”
