RSIEC Trains Adhoc Staff Ahead of LG Elections

The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC has concluded the second round of training for its Adhoc staff ahead of the 2025 local government election.

Chairman/Chief Electoral Officer of the commission, Dr Michael Ekpali Odey who directed the second round of training for the 319 Ward Collation/Returning Officers said the decision is based on the determination to build competence, capability and professionalism in her Election.

According to Dr Odey the training which was held at the RSIEC Headquarters Aba Road today, 19th August 2025 will be continuous process until the election is conducted.

The commission had displayed the names of successful candidates vying for the chairmanship and councillorship position in the election at its office.
