‎Bad News for Lookman as Inter Freeze Transfer Negotiations

‎‎Sportmediaset transfer analyst Orazio Accomando has shared a new update regarding Ademola Lookman’s transfer situation, indicating that discussions between Inter Milan and Atalanta have come to a halt.

‎”Currently, negotiations are stalled between Inter and Atalanta for Ademola Lookman,” Accomando stated on X. “At this time, Inter’s focus is on enhancing their midfield and defense.”

‎Lookman, who has been a long-term target for Inter, is advocating for the transfer after allegedly missing training sessions to pressure Atalanta.

‎The 27-year-old Nigerian forward has already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Nerazzurri but is encountering pushback from his current team.

‎Atalanta has recently rejected Inter’s latest offer of €45 million, insisting on their €50 million valuation for the winger.

‎This impasse has escalated tensions, with Lookman openly showing his discontent by removing all references to Atalanta from his social media accounts.

‎He has also filed a formal transfer request, claiming that the Bergamo club has not honored commitments made to him.

‎Despite the player’s resolve, Inter seems to have redirected its attention for the time being, focusing on bolstering its midfield and defense while keeping an eye on developments.

‎The Serie A giants continue to express interest but are not prepared to increase their current bid unless Atalanta reduces their asking price.
