Corps Medicals Urged to be Professional

The Director, Military Hospital, Port Harcourt, Brigadier General Oni has encouraged Corps medicals to be professional in the discharge of their duties.


Brigadier General Oni gave the advice when he visited the NYSC permanent orientation camp, at Nonwa-Gbam, in Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State.

He used the occasion of his visit to inspire and motivate the Corps medicals at the clinic while advising them to be disciplined in order to attain the peak of their careers.”

Brigadier General Oni profusely commended the State Coordinator and camp officials for maintaining a very “clean and well-organized” camp.

The State Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe thanked him for his visit and noted that it has “boosted the morale of the Corps Members.”


Meanwhile, 9 platoon performed a faultless parade during a drill competition as they emerged the winners of the 2025 Batch B Stream I inter-platoon drill competition. 6 platoon took 2nd position, 7 platoon took 3rd and 4 platoon 10th.

The State Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe congratulated the Corps Members for their brilliant performances and enjoined them to continue to “develop and maintain the mentality of competing fairly in their undertakings in life.”
