Kate Henshaw Demands Justice for Phyna’s Family Following Truck Accident

Kate Henshaw

Renowned Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has called for swift justice following a tragic road accident involving the younger sister of reality TV star Phyna. The incident, which occurred in Auchi, Edo State, reportedly involved a truck linked to the Dangote Group, leaving the victim with severe injuries.

The victim, a recent graduate who had celebrated her academic achievement just six days before the crash, suffered life-altering injuries, including the amputation of one leg. Medical professionals have warned that she may also lose her other leg due to the severity of the accident.

Henshaw revealed that the truck driver allegedly fled the scene but was later apprehended thanks to the intervention of an eyewitness, identified as a local lecturer, who pursued him. The actress further claimed that the vehicle’s license plate was removed in an apparent attempt to obscure its ownership. Authorities have since impounded the truck as investigations continue.

Expressing her outrage, Henshaw urged the Nigerian Police Force to ensure accountability in the case.

“She is the junior sister to @unusualphyna. Whoever owns the truck should own up. Calling on @PoliceNG @BenHundeyin to make sure justice is served,” she wrote in a social media post.

This appeal comes after Phyna, a former Big Brother Naija contestant, publicly accused billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote and his company of negligence. Phyna alleged that the Dangote Group is attempting to protect those responsible for the accident, further fueling public outcry over the incident.
