Otonti Nduka Foundation For Values Education To Organize Conference To Tackle Social Vices

The need to revitalise the moral fibre of the nation to combat the various issues confronting the country has been advocated.

Speaking to our correspondent in Port Harcourt, Emeritus Professor Otonti Nduka said maintaining positive National Values is a panacea to issues such as insecurity, embezzlement of funds, election rigging, injustice and other issues affecting the nation.

Emeritus Professor Nduka, who is the Board of Trustees Chairman of Otonti Nduka Foundation of Values Education, while clamouring for a National Conference to be hosted in Port Harcourt on 13 November 2025 to address these issues which affect Rivers State and the Nation at large, noted that upholding positive values is the only pathway to resetting the compass of the society.

He noted that notable Nigerians of good record in service, such as Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina and Bishop Matthew Kukah, would be part of such a conference to address these issues.
