The governing council and principal officers of the Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET), Koroma/Saakpenwa, were inaugurated at the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Auditorium in Abuja on Monday, 11th August 2025.
The successful Inauguration, which signifies a major milestone in the institution’s history, builds upon the foundational vision of the esteemed Pioneer Vice Chancellor, Prof. Prince Chinedu Mmom, whose expertise has been pivotal in shaping the already established university’s academic curriculum and organisational framework.

The ceremony, which had guests, council members and principal officers in attendance, formally launched a new era of academic excellence and innovation at the university.
Responding to inquiries, the University, via a post on its official Facebook page, confirmed that it will admit students for the 2025–2026 academic session.
