The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) has concluded the screening of candidates vying for chairmanship and councillorship positions in the upcoming council elections scheduled for August 30.

Commissioner Godfrey Woke, who oversees political parties, security, and monitoring at the RSIEC, spoke to journalists about the development.
