Say No to Drugs, Rivers NYSC Cord Urges Corps Members

The State Coordinator of NYSC Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe, has urged Corps Members to avoid drug abuse for their own well-being and that of their families.

Speaking at the closing of a 3-day NDLEA sensitization lecture for the 2025 Batch B Stream I Corps Members at the Nonwa-Gbam Orientation Camp in Tai Local Government Area of the state.

Oleghe highlighted the devastating emotional, psychological, physical, and financial toll drug addiction places on individuals and their loved ones.

He warned Corps Members against falling for the false allure of hard drugs, stressing that the consequences are “grave and fatal.”

Mr. Oleghe encouraged Corps Members to be active participants in the fight against drug abuse by supporting government efforts and serving as anti-drug ambassadors in their host communities.
