DJ Cuppy Roasts Suitors Over Poor Spelling

DJ Cuppy

Popular Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress DJ Cuppy has taken to social media to express her frustration over her single status at age 33, despite her career success and academic achievements, including a degree from Oxford University.

In a recent post on her X (formerly Twitter) account, Cuppy lamented that while her DMs are flooded with suitors, many of them fail at the most basic level, spelling.

“Making it big… but mother of Dúdú and FünFün, no husband, with plenty of suitors in my DMs and none can even spell Pomeranian,” she wrote. The post, which quickly went viral, sparked a mix of laughter and sympathy from fans.

Some teased her for being too picky, while others applauded her standards. One user joked, “You still dey check spelling, you never ready seh,” while another quipped, “There are no suitors in your DM but gold diggers!”.

Cuppy has been vocal about her desire to get married, especially since her high-profile engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor ended in 2023. She recently admitted that she often reminds God of her single status whenever she sees wedding photos online.

Despite the humor in her post, Cuppy’s message highlights her ongoing search for a partner who matches her intellect, taste, and values.
