The State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe, has urged Corps Members to take the in-camp Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) training seriously in order to fully harness the opportunities it offers.
Oleghe made this call on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, while flagging off the SAED programme for the 2025 Batch B Stream I orientation course for corps members deployed to the State.
He emphasized that “the 10-day, three-hours-per-day SAED training is a strategic component of the NYSC programme.
“It as a deliberate, intentional, and far-reaching initiative by the NYSC management aimed at empowering corps members, lifting them out of poverty, and providing a platform for economic growth and self-reliance.”

She encouraged Corps Members to take advantage of the training and make wise decisions that would positively shape their future.
