Nigerian Institute Partners with Cambridge’s Møller Institute to Boost Global Training in Community Development

In a major international milestone, Nigeria’s Institute of Negotiators, Community and Social Development Experts (INCOS-DE) has entered into a strategic partnership with the prestigious Møller Institute at Cambridge University, United Kingdom. The alliance is set to revolutionise capacity building and professional training in negotiation, leadership, and community engagement.

Speaking from Cambridge, INCOS-DE’s Executive Secretary and CEO, Kunle Yusuff, described the partnership as “a significant milestone in our shared commitment to professional development and capacity building.” He highlighted that the collaboration aims to design innovative training programs based on global standards, while ensuring accessibility and affordability for professionals in Nigeria and beyond.

According to Yusuff, the partnership will strengthen leadership and negotiation capabilities among experts in community and social development, offering cost-effective and tailored training solutions across various sectors.

The Møller Institute’s Director of Executive Education, Michael Cresswell, lauded the Nigerian institute for its dedication to excellence, praising its vision and professional methodology.

Further cementing the initiative’s importance, Prof. Paul Igwe, a Global Advisor to INCOS-DE, participated in inaugural discussions and underscored the broad professional impact the collaboration could deliver across Africa and the wider global south.

As part of the new alliance, INCOS-DE has officially invited the Møller Institute to its inaugural board meeting and first induction certificate presentation, scheduled for October 2025 in Nigeria. The event is expected to mark the beginning of a new era in globally aligned, locally empowered professional development.

This partnership not only reflects Nigeria’s increasing role in shaping global standards in community and leadership training but also opens doors for impactful, sustainable solutions driven by homegrown institutions.
