Blessing CEO Defends Fiancé IVD, Slams Police Over Arrest

Controversial relationship therapist Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has voiced strong disapproval over the recent arrest of her fiancé, celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna (IVD).

According to reports, IVD was detained by the Lagos State Police Command at Murtala Muhammed International Airport while attempting to travel to Qatar, where the couple was reportedly planning a destination wedding. The arrest is linked to an ongoing domestic violence case from 2022 involving the death of IVD’s wife, Bimbo Ogbonna.

Blessing CEO took to Instagram on Tuesday to defend her fiancé, insisting that he is innocent and being unfairly targeted.

“They are pushing me so hard. I will drop this love and come out with my full garment. They are bullying IVD, and it’s getting out of hand. IVD is innocent. I am not a coward, these people are using my man, I won’t tolerate this anymore,” she wrote.

She questioned the legality of the arrest, citing the absence of a formal case file, statement, or court order restricting IVD’s travel. She also revealed that his passport had only recently been replaced after being missing for two years.

“There was no ban whatsoever on him. If there was, why would he make his travel public?” she added.

Blessing CEO further alleged that IVD is being held in custody until Monday, despite no formal charges being presented. She described the situation as a display of power and emotional manipulation.

“No case file, no statement—just an order from ‘Oga’ to hold him till Monday. This is not justice; it’s bullying,” she said.

She claimed IVD has been subjected to pressure and threats since the case began three years ago and called on the Lagos State Government to intervene before the situation escalates.
