Odumodublvck Vows to Quit Music After Expectations Are Met

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has made a surprising declaration, stating that he plans to step away from music once every member of his hip-hop collective, Anti World Gangstars, attains success in the industry. The artist took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to share his intentions, writing, “Once all my nggas make it in music, I’m out.”

The Anti World Gangstars collective is a tight-knit group comprising five rappers—Odumodublvck, Agunna, Fatboy E, Reeplay, and Shagba—alongside their producer and engineer, Cross. While Odumodublvck has emerged as the most prominent figure in the group, his fellow members have yet to reach the same level of mainstream recognition.

Odumodublvck’s rise to fame was propelled by the massive success of his 2023 breakout single, “Declan Rice,” which became a cultural phenomenon. In a recent interview, the rapper boldly claimed that the track is “the most impactful” Nigerian hip-hop song ever released, further cementing his status in the industry.

Despite his own achievements, Odumodublvck remains deeply invested in the success of his collective. Over the past three years, he has leveraged his growing influence to spotlight the group, securing collaborations with A-list artists such as Davido and British rap heavyweights Skepta and Stormzy. However, while these high-profile features have elevated Odumodublvck’s career, his fellow Anti World Gangstars members have largely remained underground.
