Besiktas Set to Sign Leicester City Super Eagles Midfielder

Ndidi

‎Beşiktaş has put forth a proposal for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as they seek to strengthen their squad in preparation for the 2025/26 Süper Lig season.

‎Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has verified that discussions are currently in progress, with both teams engaged in active negotiations.

‎Ndidi, aged 28, has emerged as a key target for Beşiktaş following the departure of Gedson Fernandes to Spartak Moscow.

‎The Nigerian international, who has two years left on his existing contract, may be permitted to leave Leicester after their recent drop to the Championship.

‎Since joining from Belgian club Genk in 2017, Ndidi has made over 300 appearances for the Foxes and played a crucial role in their FA Cup and Community Shield triumphs.

‎Renowned for his defensive acumen and ability to win the ball, the midfielder has been one of Leicester’s most reliable players despite the club’s recent struggles.

‎Although Manchester United, Juventus, and Borussia Dortmund have all shown interest in Ndidi during recent transfer windows, Beşiktaş is the first to initiate a formal inquiry.

‎The Turkish giants view Ndidi as a vital addition to their midfield and are hopeful about concluding a deal.

‎Nevertheless, personal terms have yet to be agreed upon, although discussions between the two clubs continue, with Beşiktaş optimistic about reaching a comprehensive agreement before the Süper Lig’s kickoff this weekend.
