Rivers Govt Reschedules RSSSSB and RSUBEB Staff Verification Exercise

The Rivers State Government has announced changes to the previously scheduled verification exercise for staff of the Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board (RSSSSB) and the Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board (RSUBEB).

According to a statement issued on Friday, August 1, 2025, by the Acting Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Inyingi S. I. Brown, the initial verification dates, originally set for August 1 to August 7, have now been revised.

New verification dates have been confirmed for RSSSSB staff, while RSUBEB staff are advised to await further instructions from their Board.

According to the statement, “The updated schedule for RSSSSB staff reverification is as follows: Monday, August 4, 2025, Staff from Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West, Akuku Toru, Andoni, Asari Toru, and Degema LGAs are to report to the Ministry of Justice Conference Hall, located within the State Secretariat Complex.

“Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Staff from Eleme, Emohua, Etche, Gokana, Ikwerre, Khana, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGAs will undergo verification at the Dr. Obi Wali International Conference Centre, Port Harcourt.

“Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Staff from Obio-Akpor, Ogu/Bolo, Omuma, Okrika, Oyigbo, Opobo/Nkoro, Board Headquarters, Port Harcourt, and Tai LGAs are also expected at the Dr. Obi Wali International Conference Centre.”

Government urged all affected candidates to “adhere strictly to the new schedule and bring necessary documentation for smooth verification.

“Further announcements regarding the RSUBEB staff schedule will be made through the appropriate channels.”
