Kola Admits Attraction to Dede, BBNaija House Divided

A frank conversation shook the Big Brother Naija house this week as housemate Kola told Dede he is strongly attracted to her. “You are my type. I’m very attracted to you but I can’t say I like you yet,” Kola said during a late-night chat, adding that it was too soon to call it love.

Kola brought up Dede’s friendship with fellow housemate Jason, suggesting a possible romantic angle. Dede dismissed any such notion, saying her relationship with Jason is not romantic and making it clear to Kola she does not want things misinterpreted. “I’m in a serious relationship outside the house. I won’t lead you on,” Dede told him, drawing a firm line and offering only friendship.

Other housemates encouraged Kola to make his feelings clear, but Dede stayed committed to her partner beyond the walls of the house. She told Kola nothing would change and repeated her intention to keep things strictly friendly.

Reactions outside the house have been mixed. Some viewers think Kola’s approach is persistent, while others say it’s normal for reality TV. Both Kola and Dede have handled the situation with directness and respect, keeping drama to a minimum.

For now, the situation remains unchanged. Kola has admitted his attraction. Dede’s answer is “no.” Their housemates – and fans – now await the next development.
