The University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) has reaffirmed its commitment to providing healthcare services to the community through its outreach and inreach programs. The hospital’s Chief Medical Director, Professor Henry Ugboma, emphasised that these initiatives are a way of giving back to society.
Represented by Professor Dantonye Alasia, Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee, Ugboma noted that the hospital is using both outreach and inreach approaches to address healthcare issues in the country.

The Chief Operations Officer of UPTH Premium, Dr. Usifor Johhney, highlighted the economic challenges facing many Nigerians with surgical cases, making it difficult for them to access healthcare.
