Super Eagles Eye CHAN 2024 Title

‎Shola Adelani from Ikorodu City and Adedayo Olamilekan from Remo Stars are happy about being chosen for the Super Eagles B squad for the upcoming 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

‎They talked about how important their selection is, how much they respect their head coach, Eric Sekou Chelle, and what they hope to achieve in the tournament.

‎For Adelani, being picked is like a dream coming true. “It’s a dream come true for me,” he said during an interview with NFF TV, thinking about his journey so far.

‎He praised Coach Chelle’s strict but encouraging way of coaching. “The coach always says if you’re not a warrior, you can’t be a footballer. He said you can’t stay in the game if you aren’t willing to face challenges or play fiercely. I really respect the coach because he’s helped me a lot with my growth. “

‎Adelani also feels the team is ready for the competition. “The boys are ready. We’ve been training hard for the last two weeks, and whenever we make mistakes, he reminds us that mistakes are part of football. I’m sure we’re prepared for what’s coming. “

‎Olamilekan, on the other hand, talked about past disappointments as reasons to keep pushing forward. “I was left out of the Under 17 and Under 23 camps, but even though I was sad, I had to bounce back and keep going. “

‎Now that he’s been chosen for the CHAN squad, he called it exciting. “I’m glad the coach believes in me. I appreciate the coach because he values players who give their best. “

‎Like Adelani, Olamilekan has big goals for the tournament. “We’re not just happy with finishing second; we want to win the championship. “

‎As the team keeps training under Coach Chelle, both players share the same belief and determination, aiming to make a big impact at CHAN 2024 and bring honor to Nigeria.
