In a bid to equip educators with digital tools needed to facilitate access to quality education, Cloud Notte Limited in collaboration with the Bank of Industry and the Nigerian Association of Private and Proprietor Schools (NAPPS), organized a one-day program for school owners and leaders in Port Harcourt.
Speaking at the program with the theme Unlocking School Growth through Innovation, Chairman of NAPPS Rivers State, Comrade Sunday Jaja, commended the organizers for providing an opportunity for school leaders and owners to learn about current trends in the educational sector.
The Chief Executive Officer of Cloud Notte Limited and Vice Chairman of ICT Trade Group, Port Harcourt Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Mrs. Mary Matthew, stated that Cloud Note, as an educational technology company, is committed to transforming education in Nigeria and Africa.
“We organize capacity-building programs, like Educators Insights, to empower educators with digital knowledge and tools to improve learning and teaching that they need to transition to a smart school in the 21st century”. Mrs Mathew said.
The Divisional Head of Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs), South-South, Bank of Industry, Engr. Pacqueens Irabo revealed the bank’s 2025/2027 strategic plan prioritizes funding education as a catalyst for industrialization.
He assured that the bank would make funds available to schools to acquire digital assets, supporting MSMEs and revolutionizing education in Nigeria.
“They are digital economy, youth and skill, MSMEs, women-led business, infrastructure, and climate, and we see that funding education ticks all the boxes, so we will make funding available for schools to acquire digital assets”.
The Bank of Industry, which is a government agency, we are leading it, and we need more schools to think holistically about these areas of the BOI”. Engr Irabor said.
The program, which highlighted the importance of collaboration in transitioning to a smart school system, had in attendance the Director of the Directorate of Alumni Relations, Rivers State University, Atukomi Stell, and others who spoke on different topics in the educational sector.
