Pitch Awards Organizers Laud Govt’s Support for Super Falcons via NSC, NFF

‎The organizers of the Nigeria Pitch Awards have sent their congratulations to the Nigerian Super Falcons, who won the 2025 Women’s African Cup of Nations for the tenth time on Saturday. They beat the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in a very exciting and hard-fought final.

‎From the nation’s capital, Abuja, Dr. Shina Philips, the President of the Nigeria Pitch Awards, praised the team for their courage and determination.

‎“Our girls showed the strong spirit that is typical of ordinary Nigerians. Their final win, especially when they were behind by two goals in the first 25 minutes, should be a source of inspiration for all Nigerians during our current difficulties,” Philips said.

‎Dr. Philips also congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all Nigerians on this big success. She encouraged Nigerians to continue supporting the National Sports Commission and the Nigeria Football Federation.
