In a recent report, it is said that Nduka Junior, the Super Eagles B captain, has expressed confidence regarding the team’s preparations for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will be held in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
In anticipation of today’s international friendly against Zanzibar, Nduka highlighted the significance of this match in fine-tuning the squad for their Group D encounters with Senegal, Congo, and Sudan.
“The reception from the people of Zanzibar was incredible,” Nduka remarked. “I must admit, they are truly wonderful individuals. As for our preparations, we still have about a week left before the tournament kicks off.”
The Nigeria home-based team is set to play their initial two group matches in Zanzibar, before concluding their group stage journey in Tanzania against Congo.
