Port Harcourt fans hail Super Falcons heroic performance

The Super Falcons have been lauded for their brilliant performance in lifting the coveted trophy at the 2024 WAFCON final in Morocco.

Sports enthusiasts in Port Harcourt made this in an interview with Radio Nigeria.

One of them, Emeka Enyinda, said the Super Falcons exhibited resilience to be able to launch a comeback from two goals down.

“A good fight from the Super Falcons. They tried their best, being two goals down from the first half to winning by three two”, he noted.

Another fan, Abiodu, stated that the team showcased determination to fight to the last whistle of the game.

“I understand the girls had already regained their confidence by coming back”, he stressed.

Another football lover who gave his name as Chief Obidede praised the efforts of Esther Okoronkwo who was instrumental in the victory by scoring the penalty and assisting the second and third goal of the Super Falcons.

“The player there the number six, Esther Okoronkwo is a very nice player
who made nice efforts and her goal was excellent,” he noted.

They pleaded with the football administration in the country to revamp the female league to breed the best legs to replace the present Super Falcons in future for sustainability.
