Eagles Homebase To Face Zanzibar in Pre-CHAN Friendly Today

A new report says that Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles will play a friendly game against Zanzibar today, before the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The report also says this will be the first time Nigeria, also called the Giants of Africa, plays against Zanzibar in an official competition.

The game is planned to start at 2 PM local time in Nigeria.

Besides the match against Zanzibar, the Super Eagles have another game scheduled against East African teams on Thursday.

Eric Chelle’s team arrived in Zanzibar last week on Thursday to finish their last training session for the CHAN 2024 finals.
