Chidinma Ekile Shares Near-Death Experience

Chidinma Ekile

Nigerian gospel singer Chidinma Ekile has shared details of a transformative spiritual journey marked by intense solitude, fasting, and prayer.

The former Project Fame winner revealed she spent 40 days in isolation, seeking divine direction while undergoing profound spiritual experiences. She described this period as emotionally charged, filled with fervent prayer and deep internal struggles that reshaped her faith.

However, the singer recounted a particularly disturbing spiritual encounter where she faced what she described as a dark, oppressive force.

She recalled standing at the edge of a cliff, compelled by a commanding voice urging her to jump. The moment was so intense that she nearly succumbed, but an unseen force intervened, blocking her path and preventing what could have been a tragic outcome.

“It was more like I was in a theatre and God performed surgery on me and He shredded me. I have seen it all, and material things don’t move me anymore,” she said.

Chidinma interpreted the event as a direct spiritual attack, an attempt to derail her before her time of transformation was complete. “The enemy came to me to take me out of there before my time. The devil took me to the top of a cliff at night where everywhere was dark. And right there, He asked me to jump. The voice was so strong,” she explained. Yet, divine protection prevailed. “When I was about to jump, I noticed that I was barricaded, and it was impossible to jump. Something was just there.”
