‎Federal Government and States Share ₦1.8 Trillion as June Allocation

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed N1.818 trillion to the Federal Government, States, and Local Governments for June 2025.

In a statement by the Director of Press and Public Relations at the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, Mr. Bawa Mokwa, the latest distribution marks a significant rise from the previous five months.

According to the statement, ‎following the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting for July 2025, the sum of 1.818 trillion Naira, which constitutes the Federation Account Revenue for June 2025, has been distributed to the Federal Government, State Governments, and Local Government Councils.

‎Breakdown of the gross statutory revenue showed a significant increase, with N3.485 trillion received in June 2025, a rise of N1.390 trillion compared to the N2.094 trillion recorded in May 2025, while the total revenue generated from Value Added Tax experienced a decline, dropping by N64.655 billion, going from N742.820 billion in May to N678.165 billion in June.

‎The announcement also highlighted a notable rise in Companies Income Tax (CIT), Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), and the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL).

‎The statement added that there was a decline in revenue from oil and gas royalties, value-added tax (VAT), import duties, excise duties, and CET levies.
