Alleged Assault Of Ahoada Administrator: Rivers Police Interrogates Wanted CSO, Chief Of Staff, Hands Over To SCID

The Chief Security Officer of Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State, Mr. Hector Ekakita, and the Chief of Staff, Mr. Aloni Olodi, who were declared wanted, have presented themselves to the State Police command.

They were declared wanted by the Police on July 6, 2025, in connection with the alleged criminal conspiracy, stealing, and assault occasioning harm on the Ahoada East Sole Administrator, Hon. Goodluck Iheanachor.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-koko, revealed this on Friday, July 11, 2025, in a statement made available to TPCN.

According to her, “the Rivers State Police command wishes to inform the public that the suspects, Mr. Hector Ekakita, Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Mr. Aloni Olodi, Chief Of Staff (COS), respectively, who were hitherto declared wanted on 6th. July 2025, in connection with the alleged Criminal Conspiracy/Stealing/ Assault Occasioning Harm on the Ahoada East Sole Administrator, Hon. Goodluck Iheanachor, had presented themselves to the Rivers State Police Command at Moscow Road Port-Harcourt, on the 10th of July, 2025 at about 1500hrs.

“They were subsequently interviewed by the Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Police Command, and his Management Team.”

Irinke-Koko noted that “following the preliminary interview, they were further handed over to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, In-Charge of State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) for further investigation.”

The State Police command urged anyone with useful information that can assist in the ongoing investigation to come forward.

The CP added that the public’s cooperation and assistance were invaluable in ensuring that justice was served.

Further, the command reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order in the state and assured the public that the investigation will be thorough and transparent.
